Ellie and Ernie Puppies - Thank you, Autumn Blaze Bassets

On October 22, 2011, Ellie went in for a C Section to have her puppies.

Things didn't go as planned and we lost Ellie due to the surgery.

She is greatly missed here at GoldenAsset. I know she is up in heaven looking down over her pups.

Here is the silver lining in this black cloud. Ellie has given us 5 beautiful healthy puppies to care for. With the wonders of today's internet and social media I put the word out that I needed a foster mom for 5 orphan pups. As things would work out over the next few hours I received a response from a women that I did not know. She had a female that was going through a false pregnancy and if she could be of any help, to let her know. My daughter and I jumped in the car and headed to a little town called Bridgen Ontario. We had no idea where we were heading but within 3 and a half hours we had arrived at a kennel to see a lady standing outside waiting for us with a smile on her face.

I would like to thank Becki of Autumn Blaze Bassets for reaching out to us in our time of need. She has done one the most unselfish acts that you can do. She has now taking on the responsibility of raising Ellie's pups while they are nursing on one of her females.

I know Ellie is watching over her and her pups with her tail waging and giving her a big ARHOOOOO.

I know Becki keeps saying to me "stop saying Thank You"..but I have to say it over and over again.

THANK YOU Becki and Lola for reaching out to us when we needed you. We are forever in your debt!

Becki is also being kind enough to send us pictures as our puppies grow. I will post them here

so we can all watch them grow!
